Alena & Alina Krutskikh
Contemporary dancers, performers, choreographers, and founders of Teatro Movimiento Anstatuanto (Barcelona)
Alena & Alina Krutskikh are twin dancers, choreographers, and performers based in Barcelona, working at the intersection of contemporary dance, physical theatre, and acrodance. As co-founders of Teatro Movimiento Anstatuanto (est. 2022), they develop original stage works and collaborative projects exploring the body as a space of memory, identity, and transformation.
In 2025–2026, they joined the international co-production “Bright Horses” with performances across Portugal at O Espaço do Tempo (Montemor-o-Novo), Cineteatro Louletano (Loulé), and Teatro Municipal do Porto (Porto). Their creations have been selected for multiple artistic residencies in Barcelona, including El Graner, La Central de la Dansa, La Volta, and Espai Jove Boca Nord.
Winners of the “Territory in Dansa” award (2025) and “El Mínim” competition (2023), Alena & Alina are developing an innovative choreographic language combining gesture, partnering, acrobatics, and dramaturgy of movement.
Alongside their artistic practice, they have over 8 years of teaching experience in dance and physical theatre, conducting workshops at InDance International, Fresh, Move Up, and Barcelona’s cultural centres (Tudanzas, Boca Nord, CC Albareda, CC Can Clariana).
